What is Malware?
Malware is short for ‘Malicious Software’. This is a general term used to label viruses, spyware, worms, etc. It is basically a computer program that gets in to your computer and “infects it”. Email is a popular way to transmit Malware as well as downloading software/programs.

A great way to protect yourself is to have a reputable antivirus software running on your computer. This software can run in the background and detect and quarantine viruses.
